The Special Vulnerable Victims Observatory’s purpose is to keep track of portuguese law and its enforcement by portuguese courts concerning the protection of specially vulnerable victims (namely children, women, elderly people and people in institutional care) facing violent behaviours. It also intends to evaluate its compliance with the European Union Law.
