No âmbito do projeto de colaboração “Semi-workers and Semi-competitiors? The Interplay of Competition and Labour Law in Times of “Platformisation” entre a Escola do Porto da Faculdade de Direito da Universidade Católica Portuguesa e a University of Information Technology and Management na Polónia, realizou-se no dia 9 de julho a Conferência “The National Status Quo in Portugal and Poland and the Current EU Legislation”.

Através deste projeto, procura-se estudar a proteção conferida aos prestadores de plataformas, como zona de confluência entre o Direito da Concorrência e o Direito do Trabalho.

Neste primeiro evento, foram debatidas as soluções legislativas atualmente em vigor em Portugal, na Polónia e no ordenamento jurídico da União Europeia.  

In the scope of the collaboration project "Semi-workers and Semi-competitors? The Interplay of Competition and Labour Law in Times of "Platformisation" between the Porto Law School of the Portuguese Catholic University and the University of Information Technology and Management in Poland, the Conference "The National Status Quo in Portugal and Poland and the Current EU Legislation" was held on 9 July.

Through this project, the aim is to study the protection granted to platform providers, as a confluence zone between Competition Law and Labour Law.

In this first event, the legislative solutions currently in force in Portugal, Poland and in the European Union legal system were discussed.
