The Faculty of Law at the Universidade Católica Portuguesa is organising a special conference this fall to commemorate two significant milestones: the 75th anniversary of the European Convention on Human Rights and the 25th anniversary of the Charter of Fundamental Rights of the European Union.
This event will offer an opportunity to reflect on the key contributions for the protection of human rights across Europe, as well as to discuss the current and future challenges in this field. To mark the occasion, the Faculty of Law will host a two-day event, beginning at the Porto School on the 17th of November at 10:00 am and concluding at the Lisbon Campus on 21st of November at 9:30 am, Américo Amorim Auditorium.
A Faculdade de Direito da Universidade Católica Portuguesa está a organizar, neste outono, uma conferência especial para assinalar dois marcos significativos: o 75.º aniversário da Convenção Europeia dos Direitos Humanos e o 25.º aniversário da Carta dos Direitos Fundamentais da União Europeia.
Este evento constituirá uma oportunidade para refletir sobre os principais contributos para a proteção dos direitos humanos em toda a Europa, bem como para discutir os desafios atuais e futuros neste domínio. Para assinalar a ocasião, a Faculdade de Direito promoverá um evento de dois dias, que terá início na Escola do Porto, a 17 de novembro às 10h00, e terminará no Campus de Lisboa, a 21 de novembro às 9h30, Auditório Américo Amorim.
