AIMA and the Courts — When the State Fails, Where Can Citizens Turn?

In Portugal, thousands of foreign citizens are waiting for a decision from AIMA that is slow to arrive; therefore, they are left with no choice but to turn to the courts.

According to our lecturer, Pedro Cerqueira Gomes, “it is time to accept that this problem requires a solution.”
