“As a Postgraduate Programme in Human Rights, the diversity of people involved greatly enriches the learning experience.

It allows us to encounter different perspectives from around the world and listen to people whose views are far more diverse than what we would experience within a single context.”

“Joining the Interdisciplinary Postgraduate Programme in Human Rights was the fulfilment of a long-held aspiration, and my expectations were exceeded in every respect.

Although the online format presented some challenges, it was greatly enhanced by the participation of professors, and especially colleagues, from various countries, each bringing distinct experiences and perspectives, particularly in the field of Human Rights.”

“Studying Human Rights at Universidade Católica Portuguesa was one of the best decisions I have ever made. It added significant value to my professional and personal life, helping me become a more aware and committed citizen dedicated to the promotion and protection of Human Rights in all their dimensions.

What captivated me most was the interdisciplinary approach of this Postgraduate Programme, integrating perspectives from Law, Education, Social Economy and Psychology, and combining theory and practice in an exemplary way. I would particularly highlight the excellence of the teaching staff, as well as the invited professionals who generously shared their valuable hands-on experience.

Equally, I recognise that the diversity of students, coming from different academic backgrounds and geographic origins, both national and international, profoundly enriched the learning experience. It broadened our worldview, stimulated debate and reflection, and promoted respect, empathy, and appreciation for ideological and cultural differences. These, I believe, are essential for fostering more inclusive and effective approaches in global contexts.

I am deeply grateful for having had the opportunity to undertake this interdisciplinary programme, which proved to be a transformative experience, one that opened new horizons and inspired me to continue my studies in this field.

I now feel more capable, conscious, and empowered to contribute to building a fairer and more equitable society that truly upholds Human Rights.
