The ADN Jurista Programme runs over six of the eight semesters of the undergraduate degree in law, covering the following curricular units or modules:
1st Semester: Argumentation and Rhetorics;
2nd Semester: Dramatic Expression;
3rd Semester: Oral Communication;
4th Semester: Negotiation and Decision making in the legal world;
5th Semester: Legal Writing;
6th Semester: Oficinas de Empregabilidade (Practical sessions on employability).
The curricular units Argumentation and Rhetorics (5 ECTS) and Negotiation and Decision making in the legal world (5 ECTS) are already included in the undergraduate degree in Law as non-legal elective units, and therefore do not add to the existing academic workload.
Students may also undertake the ADN Jurista Premium Internship, leading to 5 ECTS and credited if requested (internship is free of charge, but creditation is paid for).
In total, students may complete up to 15 ECTS in elective curricular units: one legal (Internship) and two non-legal (Argumentation and Rhetorics and Negotiation and Decision making in the legal world).
