Learning outcomes of the curricular unit
Forming part of that subject, other topics will be referenced which are connected with: the notion of legal liability, the legal regime differences between non-contractual liability (tort) and contractual liability (with a focus on the former’s characteristics, on concurrent liability issues), strict liability (damage caused by defective products and damage caused by motor vehiclesthe commonalities regarding injuries, remedies (injured person’s accountability, types of injury, remedies in the face of personal injury, damages’ reduction, aggravated damages and non-containment of damages, reinstatement/unbinding and money compensation) and causation. The subject matter will be taught always taking into account the responses being given by our courts of law as regards the different questions, seeking to enable students to ponder the issues and to deepen the more basic knowledge obtained in the course of the undergraduate degree
