Qualified lawyer in Brazil and certified mediator under Resolution No. 125 of the Brazilian National Council of Justice. She holds a Master’s degree in Law from the Ribeirão Preto Law School of the University of São Paulo (FDRP-USP). She obtained her Ph.D. in Law from the Faculty of Law of the University of São Paulo (Largo São Francisco), and as a Visiting Scholar at the Max Planck Institute for Max Planck Institute Luxembourg for Procedural Law. Her main research focus is mediation. She is currently a Research Fellow at the Singapore Management University (SMU), where her work focuses on comparative studies of mediation and arbitration in cross-border and international disputes.
