Learning outcomes of the curricular unit
The aim is to complement the training of students in Labour Law, beginning the knowledge of the Occupational Health and Safety Law, analyzing this discipline from a theoretical perspective, considering the legal framework and existing case law, and simultaneously raising their awareness of the importance of the articulation with Community and international law and dealing with the prevention and repair prisms. The purpose is also the development of research skills within the specific topics appointed, establishing the relation between national and international doctrine and case law

2. Fundamental concepts
3. Legal international framework, particularly at Council of Europe and European Union
4. The Directive 89/391 and specially the SME's framework
5. National legal framework: Constitution and ordinary legislation
6. Professional contingencies: prevention and repair
7. Professional risks, specially psychosocial risks
8. Rights and duties of worker and employer
9. Protection of special situations, particularly hazardous activities, vulnerable workers
10. Means of protection of the worker

12. Preventive activities organisation
