Keynote Lecture – Promover o Direito à Saúde dos Migrantes em Situação de Vulnerabilidade: Articulação da Proteção Multinível com Contributos Interdisciplinares
On 4 March 2026, at 10 a.m., Stefano Angeleri, Professor of Law at the University of Limerick and General Coordinator of ANESC (Academic Network on the European Social Charter and Social Rights), will deliver a keynote lecture titled “Advancing the Right to Health for Distress Migrants: Bridging Multilevel Protection with Interdisciplinary Inputs,” as part of the Seminar on Multilevel Protection of Fundamental Social Rights hosted by the Porto Faculty of Law of Universidade Católica Portuguesa and the Católica Research Centre for the Future of Law.
The session will examine how the right to health of migrants in situations of distress can be strengthened through coordinated multilevel legal protection and meaningful interdisciplinary engagement, addressing the complex intersection of migration governance, social rights, and public health.
