Learning outcomes of the curricular unit

The specific aims of this unit are:
a) to encourage the students to reflect upon the essential purpose of a legal system and upon the alternatives on how such purpose may be achieved;

b) to stimulate the understanding, by the students, of the answers that may be given to the issue of the legal method and its close relation with the concept of Law;

c) to understand the doctrine of the rule;

d) to think critically the interpretation and integration of law in light of the acquired knowledge. 

By the end of the unit the students will be able to understand and apply the coordinates of the legal method in solving any conflicts of interest.
