Introduction to Management

Learning outcomes of the curricular unit

Allow Law students to come in contact with the main features linked with the management of a business and organisations in general. Provide them with an essential conceptual and instrumental framework in what regards either the more general aspects of management (the first five chapters), or more functional ones (the last three chapters). At the end of the course, students are expected to be aware of the importance of the several topics covered and to understand the institutional and organisational framework in which several fields of Law operate, besides being prepared to explore strong complementarities between Law and Management in the future, if so intended.
