Learning outcomes of the curricular unit

Applying the general principles of the European Convention on Human Rights, in particular the doctrine of the margin of appreciation, the principle of proportionality and the doctrine of dynamic interpretation, to the human rights enshrined in the Convention; mastering the concept of interference with human rights and the requirements under which such interference is valid under the Convention; understanding the ancillary nature and complementarity between the human rights enshrined in the ECHR; mastering doctrinal and jurisprudential developments regarding some of the human rights enshrined in the ECHR.
