Learning outcomes of the curricular unit
Overview and systematic view of Industrial Property Law, mastery of the fundamentals of Industrial Property and knowledge of the system of industrial property rights, namely patents and utility models, design rights, trade marks and other badges of trade, with special emphasis on designations of origin and geographical indications, in national, international and European Union law. With particular emphasis on the latter, where there are uniform supra-national legal regimes at European level. Critical analysis of the legal regime of unfair competition and trade secrets. Analysis of the means of protection, legal transactions and interactions with other regimes.
