constitutional framework of evidentiary matters

  • purpose of proof in criminal proceedings
  • historical truth vs procedural truth
  • Prohibited evidence / Prohibited methods of proof
  • general principles of criminal proceedings relating to proof
  • means of obtaining evidence and evidence established in the code of criminal procedure
  • the production of evidence throughout the process 
  • reference to evidence contained in separate legal diplomas
  • consideration of problematic aspects associated with the obtention and the use of evidence in criminal proceedings
