The Faculty of Law and DOWER CMNS – Law Firm reaffirmed, yesterday, their collaboration, which will now include the participation of the firm’s lawyers in teaching more practical-oriented classes, as well as the awarding of a cash prize, the ‘Dower Law Firm Prize in Company and Business Law’, to the master’s dissertation in the field of Company and Business Law with the highest mark.

This strengthening of cooperation, which also encompasses other academic and scientific collaboration activities of mutual interest, takes the form of an addendum to the memorandum of understanding that the two institutions have maintained since 2023, and stems from both parties’ interest in diversifying and deepening their institutional relationship, particularly in the field of legal education and the recognition of academic merit.

The addendum was signed by the Dean of the Faculty of Law, Marta Portocarrero, and by Eduardo Castro Marques, managing partner of the firm, continuing a collaboration that has proved enriching for both parties.
