The Government has tabled a draft bill aimed at encouraging the division of undivided estates, specifically through the creation of a procedure for the sale of property forming part of the estate, at the request of any heir, and the arbitration of inheritance disputes as determined by the testator (Draft Bill No. 69/XVII/1) (here)]. This Colloquium aims to promote debate on the Government’s proposal and will feature renowned experts in Civil Procedure Law and Inheritance Law.
