Symposium | The Catholic University: Four Decades of the Companies Act
In the year marking the 40th anniversary of the adoption of the Commercial Companies Code and the 20th anniversary of its most significant reform (2006), the Faculty of Law of the Portuguese Catholic University is organising, at its two campuses (in Lisbon and Porto), on two different dates, a colloquium aimed at taking stock of the Code over four decades, as well as considering the prospects for the future, featuring – as speakers – renowned experts from Portuguese law schools.
The event aims to provide a critical assessment of the Code’s evolution over four decades, whilst also promoting reflection on the challenges and future prospects of Company Law.
