Students should acquire a detailed knowledge of the legal regime applicable to certain employment contracts that are subordinated to special regulation by virtue of their specific features and learn how to coordinate them with the general labour framework. Contracts involving the provision of activity in a situation analogous to the employment relationship and which have significant importance in practice are also addressed. The legal issues raised by legal literature and case law complete this legal analysis in order to stimulate independent thought. For this purpose, the study of comparative law is also carried out, so that students become aware of the common problems and the different ways of dealing with them. Finally, students shall be aware of the need to articulate the national legislation with the sources of supranational law, resolving conflicts of rules.
